Description

Three copies of a map titled "Route Map for Travellers in South Western Africa. The northern part of this sheet is laid down by Mr Galton from observations taken by him in 1850-1. The southern part from those of Mr [Charles J] Andersson in 1851-2.3."

The map is annotated with geographical features and the names of populated areas. It covers the area from roughly Latitude 22 Longitude 14 to Latitude 25 and Longitude 19.
