Biographical note

Pro-Familia is the German equivalent of the FPA. It was founded in 1952 as "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ehe und Familie"["German Association for Marriage and Family"], with the aim to create a non-profit, non-governmental and non-denominational trade association for matters of sexuality and family planning.
