Description

Rutson James' letters are manuscript and signed, Matcham's are typescript carbons, unsigned. The two exchange notes on London medical practioners, and a transcript from apprentice books at Barbers' Hall is attached to no.2; also included is a carbon of a letter from Matcham to the surgeon and medical historian Sir D'Arcy Power (1855-1941) (no.8).
