Letters between Rutson James and the manuscript dealer and historian Frank Matcham (d.1944)

Rutson James' letters are manuscript and signed, Matcham's are typescript carbons, unsigned. The two exchange notes on London medical practioners, and a transcript from apprentice books at Barbers' Hall is attached to no.2; also included is a carbon of a letter from Matcham to the surgeon and medical historian Sir D'Arcy Power (1855-1941) (no.8).
