Box file containing items of ephemera in acid free sleeves. Includes leaflets, cards, charity fund raising raffle tickets and a bookmark giving information and advice about: meningitis, immunisation, mumps, pinworms, pre- 1850 leaflets on plague (Ferrara 1679, 1681, 1682), pneumococcal disease, poliomyelitis (fund raising seals, USA and Germany, ca. 1960, Denmark 1967), Infantile paralysis leaflet (Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, May 1946), rabies (or canine madness - 1788), rickets, rubella (in pregnancy, 2010), scabies, scarlet fever (children's scarlet fever ward : postcard : 1914), scurvy (1798), septicaemia, shingles, 'Were you aged 70, 78 or79 on 1st September 2014?' : shingles vaccination (Sanofi Pasteur MSD), systemic candida, tapeworms, toxoplasmosis (in pregnancy), trichinosis, typhoid (or jail fever, 1790), daily report chart for J.H. Cook's typhoid in March 1914 at Queen Victoria's Jubilee Institute for Nurses), Russian 'seal' stamp (encouraging clean water supply to avoid typhoid and dysentery), whooping cough and yellow fever.
