Photograph of an illustration from an unidentified 13th century manuscript, possibly held by the Royal Library of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Spain. The illustration depicts patients being nursed in hospital with decorative margins and text in Latin above and below. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 13th January 1936 (PHO 6966).
