30 March, 1898. Signed Agreement between William Cooper & Nephews and William Adrian Hart, "for the establishment and maintenance of a flock of pure-bred Shropshire Sheep at Hartfield" (Cathcart, Cape Colony).

2 February, 1904. Draft Agreement between William Cooper & Nephews and John Charles Munch, of Honing Krantz, Conway, Cape Colony, "for the establishment and maintenance of a flock of Shropshire Sheep at Honing Krantz, Conway, for the mutual profit of the parties...." With some following correspondence (1904), clarifying the arrangement.
