Biographical note

The Committee was formed as a means to aid communication between Clinical/Special Interest Groups, Occupational Groups and central CSP groups and committees, and also to improve communication between the special interest groups themselves. From their Terms of Reference, their purpose is to "Contribute a practitioner / clinician perspective to CSP policy and development [and] provide a forum through which CIGs and OGs can debate and influence changes which affect professional practice and service delivery." There is considerable overlap between this committee and the Professional Practice Committee, to which four CIGLC members were elected, see SA/CSP/C.1/11.
