About this work
Description
The Trust Fund was set up by Dame Rosalind Paget in 1919 for the purpose of supporting midwives and the midwifery profession. The Fund appears to have been partially administered at the journal offices, in close co-operation with the College of Midwives. It primarily allocated allowances to retired midwives but from 1952 it also made grants for midwives wishing to travel abroad.
