    A CASE OP EXTROVERSION OE THE BLADDER TREATED BY PRELIMINARY NARROWING OF THE GAP EXISTING IN THE PUBIO SYMPHYSIS BY MEANS OF DIVISION OF THE SACRO- ILIAC SYNCHONDROSES. BY G. H. MAKINS. Received December 10th, 1887—Read March 27th, 1888. In the 1 Centralblatt fur Chirurgie 5 of December, 1885/ Professor Trendelenburg, of Bonn, published a case of extroversion of the bladder, in which immediate union of the lateral margins was obtained by a previous division of the sacro-iliac synchondroses. The operation attracted some notice at the time, and has since received the stamp of approval by Professor Thiersch,2 one of the pioneers in the treatment of this defect, but as far as I know no surgeon in this country has repeated the method there detailed.
