Image of a compound monocular microscope made in the late eighteenth century in Paris, France. The Nachet Collection was a large set of microscopes collected by Albert Nachet and acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. The microscope is now held by the Science Museum (object number: A60965).
