Description

Large volume with twelve Circulars from the General Board of Lunacy stuck or fastened to pages. Included are Circulars 90-92, 94-96, 99, 102, 106-107, 113 and 120. They concern the printing of schedules, books and registers; certificates of emergency; entries in the register of restraint; voluntary boarders; the transfer of suicidal patients; Inspectors of the Poor; restraint and seclusion; discharge of unrecovered pauper lunatics; registers of attendants; transfer forms for patients moving from one asylum to another; notices of death; and protection from fire. Also included is a notice on Crichton Royal Institution headed paper relating to procedures for admissions, 9 September 1902. All Circulars found in this volume can also be found in DGH1/3/1/4/1.
