Project Summary:Illustration has historically assisted the dissemination of complex scientific ideas and now could have a role to play in bioscience learning through comic strips, graphics and biological diagrams. Illustrating Science aims to enliven primary school bioscience teaching practice with high-quality illustration. Biomedical scientists in partnership with a professional illustrator and The House of Illustration will work with teachers in London primary schools to deliver in-depth illustration workshops, supporting and enhancing bioscience teaching and learning at Key Stage 2.
