Executive Branch

Series consists of papers, correspondence, books and minutes orelating to the meetings of the Central Executive Committee. This includes lists of those present, agendas and reports made for or by the committee. Also included is correspondence from members and several bound books filled with minutes for the society. These have damaged binding and are fragile. Documents include but are not limited to: Meeting of Representatives of Para medical Professions, Rules of the British Orthoptic Society, Disaplinary Consequences of Action in Pursuit of an Industrial Dispute, Suggested Modifications to the School Eye Service, List of Instruments in the Wellcome Institute of the History of Medicine (now in The Science Museum).
