About this work

Description

A woodblock printed volume of monochrome illustrations to accompany a Japanese edition of Quanti xinlun (全新理论), a treatise on physiology, published in Japan in 1857. The text is missing from this copy. This work was originally written by Benjamin Hobson and published in Chinese in 1851.
