Conditions associated with permanent or temporary achlorhydria congenital (?) achlorhydria and actylia. Classifications (on modern knowledge and theories) of anaemias. Supposed cases of malarial pernicious anaemia. Nutritional anaemias and anaemias with gastric carcinoma of macrocytic type. Cases of probably simple achlorhydric anaemia in males (near commencement of the collection). Also notes and cuttings re the whole question of iron-deficiency anaemias and the treatment of various kinds of anaemia, and combined degeneration of the spinal cord ('funicular myelosis') and pellagra by iron. The use of iron in various kinds of anaemia. Pernicious anaemia (third series) and observation bearing upon the subject of Castle's 'intrinsic factor' against pernicious anaemia, and also against subacute combined degeneration of spinal cord. Notes and cuttings re 'unreality feelings' in Addisonian and other chronic anaemia patients (for comparison with the (?simple) achlorhydric anaemic patient, William Smith).
