About this work

Description

Collection of alchemical tracts, notes, and extracts, etc.: in French. Written mostly by the same hand throughout. In the following list of contents, the titles are mostly those found in the 'Table des matières'. The date for the death of Sendivogius (No. 35) is later than that usually given; he is generally stated to have died in 1646, though some authorities say 1636. On the recto of the first leaf is written 'Sciences occultes'.
