Alphabetical Registers of Patients

Adopted for use under the requirements of the Mental Treatment Act, 1930. Information given includes date of Reception Order, date of admission, name, age, religion, whether voluntary, temporary or certified, date of departure, discharge or death, address of nearest relative or friends. Books are arranged in alphabetical sections. At the beginning of the first volumes for males and for females (RET 6/2/6/1 and RET 6/2/6/2), patients already in residence are copied in, hence the earlier admission dates. This series runs in parallel to RET 6/2/7 and overlaps with RET 6/2/8.
