Minutes and background papers to the First Meeting (2 November, 1981) and the Third Meeting (11 January, 1982). Under the Terms of Reference, the Working Party (of which Paton was a member) was to report to the Trustees on the present academic standing of the Wellcome Institute and to prepare a strategic plan for the next twenty years.
