Biographical note

In April 1977, the Staff Association was formed, membership of this association was open to all members of salaried staff of the FPA. In July 1977 the Staff Consultative Committee (SCC) was formally elected from members of the Staff Association, whose aims were to represent the interests of the salaried staff of the FPA. The SCC consisted of 6 members, elected annually by ballot by members of the Staff Association, and the SCC elected a chairman, Secretary and an observer to the NEC. Meetings of the Staff Association and the SCC were held at least 3 times a year or on request from any members of the Staff Association. The AGM was held every April.
