Photograph of an illustration from Constantinus Africanus by Dioscorides, a 14th century manuscript, held by the Austrian National Library, Vienna (Cod. 2315). The illustration possibly depicts a monk physician examining a monk's chest with text in Latin. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 16th September 1935 (PHO 4645). Related images: M0007077, M0007079, M0007080.
