Description

The Working Group was formed after the joint Physiological Society and British Pharmacology Society (BPS) Heads of Departments meeting in March 2007 with the purpose of looking at the sensitive issues surrounding the inclusion of physiology and pharmacology in the medical training curriculum in the UK.

Includes correspondence; draft notes from the first meeting May 2007; "Teaching Safe and Effective Prescribing in UK Medical Schools: a core curriculum for tomorrow's Doctors" document by the BPS; "University of Glasgow Faculty of Medicine Undergraduate Medical School Curriculum Review" second draft document with comments; "The Anatomical Society: setting a benchmark for anatomical knowledge and its assessment" document with comments.
