8 July, China, from J Preston Maxwell ("I have a large number of Leprosy cases & in one or two Chaulmoogra oil has acted like a charm, transforming a man who was universally shunned into an acceptable member of society") - a letter annotation notes that 500 Tabloid Ko-Sam seeds were despatched to Maxwell on 11 June;
