Description

Miscellaneous papers of William Waylett and of his nephew and successor in practice Thomas Sargent (d. 1823), mainly concerning the administration of Waylett's estate. Bound up with a copy of F W Cock, The life-work of an 18th century man-midwife (London, 1907), and with related letters to Cock, prints and photographs. Inserted loose is an account for medicines supplied to the poor of the parish of Kenardington, Kent, 1738-39.
