WAITE’s celebrated Worm Medicine, in the form of Gin¬ gerbread Nuts, has acquired a refutation far surpassing, that of any other medicine ever heard of, winch is partly evinced by the astonishing rapidity of its sale, upwards of fifty thousand persons having experienced its happy effects since it was hi st discovered by the late Dr. Waite. The vast demand has been occasioned by their unparalleled efficacy, not only in the total extirpation of those horrid vermin called Worms, and their cause, from the human body, at all ages ; but also in Drop¬ sical, Scorbutic,and Nervous Cases; in Consumptions,Asthmas, and all Ph tbs icy Complaints ; in all Bilious Cases ; in all Disorders of the Head, occasioned by Foulness of the Stomach and Obstructions in the minute Vessels ; in complaints occasioned by Indigestion ; in re¬ storing Loss of Appetite; in gnawing Pains at the Stomach; in the Pleurisy; in Cases of Vomiting and Retching in the Morning; lathe 'Piles, the Jaundice, the Gravel and the Heartburn ; in Disorders oc¬ casioned by Strains ; in Ulcerous Wounds ; in Inflammations internal or external; in Disorders occasioned by Hard-drinking; in Obstruc¬ tions of the Menses; in restoring the Complexion ; and giving almost instantaneous relief in the most racking Pains of the Cholic. It proving likewise to be the best Physic ever known, in all cases where Purging is required, as after Hard-drinking, the Measles, Small- Pox, &c. has not a little added to its celebrity. To publish the fiftieth part of the Cures performed bv Dr. Waite’s Nuts, in his life-time, wpuld require a volume ; he having advertised that upwards of'fifteen thousand cases had come within his own knowledge. But the following will Ve sufficient to give the reader an idea of their superlative efficacy, and reconcile their belief to the astonishing demand occasioned by their popularity : IJnion-ftreet, Brijlof, Aw*. 18, 1801. Mr. GEORGE SPURRIER, Shoema¬ ker, of Temple-street, has waited on Min Rose, the only appointed Ven¬ der ofDr.Waite’s celebrated Worm Medicine, in the Form of Ginger¬ bread Nuts, in this City, requesting Mr. Rose to publish the following CASE : HELENA, wife of theTmdersigned George Spurrier, Shoemaker, of Tem- ple-flreet, in the parish of Temple, in the city of Bristol, having for several years suffered under a violent oppres¬ sion on her stomach, attended with loss of appetite, a hacking cough, and considerable debility, was recom¬ mended by a gentleman who had often experienced great relief from Dr. Waite's Worm Nuts, to try the same. On trial of theNuts, she voided a very- large quantity of Worms, much re¬ sembling white maggots: in conse¬ quence, the complaint of her stomach and the cough were removed, and she was restored to her wonted strength. —The first time she took Dr. Waite’s WormMedicine was about four years ago, and thedisorder having returned at different periods, three or four times since, she had, at those times, agai{1
