Description

Letters between J B S Haldane and the MRC regarding the involvement of the Committee on Human Genetics in a survey of the physical characteristics of militiamen by the Royal Anthropological Institute, the nature of the examinations to be undertaken, and the size and thoroughness of the investigation. Includes a letter from Haldane to R R Gates typed on the reverse of his letter to the MRC dated 27 February 1940 about the proposed expansion of the investigation.
