The interstitial gland and its primary tumours exerting an endocrine function in youth, stimulating general growth, like chromophobic adenomata of the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland in acromegaly. Endocrine functions of the sex-organs, and action of othe endocrine glands on the sexual organs (and on maternal instincts, etc). Sex-predisposition to disease. Question of fat children, 'hypogonadism' and Frohlich's dystrophia adiposogenitalis (connected with hypopituitarism, etc). Question of sex, and the bodily and mental troubles (masochism, etc) connected with it. Anterior hypopituitarism (Gilford's ateleosis, etc)--for this see also other collections.
