Description

Grant by Richard Neile, Master of the Savoy Hospital [and afterwards Archbishop of York], and by Peter Lily and Michael Saltford, Chaplains of the Hospital, of an annual sum of four pounds for life to Robert Allott, doctor of medicine [d. 1642, Linacre Lecturer at Cambridge] for medical advice and attendance on the Master, Chaplains, female servants, and the sick and wounded poor in the Hospital. Signatures on the verso of Neile as Bishop elect of Rochester and of Lily and Saltford. 10 July, 6 James I (1608)
