    Complete Left, 27th Apr., 1888 Complete Accepted, 1st June, 1888 A.D. 1887, 31^ October. N° 14,786. PROVISIONAL SPECIFICATION. Improvement in Trusses, Single, Double, and other Abdominal Belts and Bands. Henry Barrow Retired Commander H.M. Bengal Marine Fairlop Road Leyton- stone, Essex, do hereby declare the nature of this invention to be as follows :— Barrow Truss. My invention is an improvement in Trusses Single, Double, and other Abdominal 5 Belts and Bands, as by my arrangement the Rupture, Truss Belt or Band does not get out of place, and gives great ease and comfort, and dispences with the perinial strap, as illustrated in the accompanying drawing. No. 1 Pad No. 2 continuation strap, which passes under and round the Leg and is brought in front, and buckled to strap 3. No. 4 metal square and roller on which the India rubber hand 5 works and the ends sewn to No. 2. No. 6 the leather strap, attached to the top of the square No. 4 and fastened on to the stud No. 7.
