Numbered photographic prints relating to research conducted in the Medical Research Council (MRC) Biophysics Research Unit, King’s College London. Prints correspond with numbered glass 3 1/4” x 4 1/4” (8.5 x 11cm) slides 1-1630 (see also index books, ref: KDBP/2/1-2), and include x-ray diffraction images of DNA made by Maurice Wilkins, Rosalind Franklin and Raymond Gosling. Original title ‘Maurice Wilkins contacts no 1-687’, ‘Contacts 688-1110’ and ‘Contacts 1111-1630’.
