Physeptone, brand Linctus, Methadone Hydrochoride, B.P.- analgesic for management of pain which is severe enough to warrant a drug as powerful as morphine. Administration, Physeptone may be given subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, in less urgent cases oral administration may be taken.
