Includes thermocopy of grant application (1966), thermocopy of an application for further funding (1969), correspondence between Renwick and Professor Victor Almon McKusick and reports and other papers concerning the Hartford Foundation grant. Also includes photocopy of a newspaper cutting titled 'JHU Gets Genetic Study Grant' about John Hopkins University securing a 3 year grant to develop detailed maps of human genes. Professor Victor Almon McKusick is described as the "chief investigator for the mapping studies".
