Council papers and other policy matters

Together with the Council minutes Dr Cohen normally filed various official meeting papers, plus related correspondence and other papers which were probably not circulated at meetings. This arrangement has been maintained and should facilitate ease of reference. However, it should be noted that due to the originally haphazard contents of some files, and the absence of numbering on meeting papers it has not been possible to ensure that all meeting papers have been correctly matched to corresponding minutes. (This is normally when a topic was discussed at several meetings during the year or no reference is made to a circulated paper). In some cases, filed papers contain a reference to planned or past discussions at Group Council, but no mention of that topic can be found in the appropriate minutes; rather than create a separate file, these papers have been integrated chronologically within the sequence. Many minutes, all of which are copies, are annotated by Dr Cohen.

Also filed in this section are circular letters to Council members, some agenda and notices for ordinary and annual general meetings and programmes for Refresher Courses organised by the Group.
