Description

Allis was later the proprietor of a private asylum at Osbaldwick (see RET 8/2/1) Hon. Curator of Comparative Anatomy at the Yorkshire Museum 1839 - 1875, Fellow of Linnean Society, and one of the first members of the British Association. Papers are described in 4 separate parts.
