About this work

Description

A single-sheet fragment, without date, headed "Re Lundborg and Lanman & Kemp London address".

Burroughs suggests that both firms should be persuaded to show on their product labels not only their New York address but also their London address (i.e. Snow Hill), a point particularly relevant to overseas orders. "As we have a sign up inside our premises for each ... and are doing a lot of work to get up a sale on the goods part of which results in trade go[ing] direct to them leaving us out in the cold as to profits."
