Society for the Relief of the Ruptured Poor. President. The Right Hon. Henry Dundas, one of His Majesty's principal secretaries of state, &c. vice-presidents. Sir Francis Blake, bart. Sir Walter Farquhar, bart. M.D. Maxwell Garthshore, M.D. and F.R.S. John Heaviside, Esq. surgeon extraordinary to His Majesty. On Sunday morning, the 14th of October, 1798, a sermon will be preached, at the Parish Church of St. Dunstan in the west, by the Rev. George Pattrick, L.L.B. vicar of Avely, in Essex; domestic chaplain to the Right Hon. Lady Dacre, of Lee, in Kent; joint lecturer of St. Leonard, Shoreditch; and evening lecturer of St. Bride's, Fleet-Street; for the purpose of relieving, through the medium of the above-mentioned institution, such of the poor of the Parish of St. Dunstan in the West, as are asslicted with ruptures, and to prevent the families of those unfortunate people from becoming chargeable to the said parish.
