IV. Her refusing to live in incest with him, and return to England. V. Her intrigue with a gentleman at Bath by whom she had a son. VI. Her marriage in Lancashire with a gentleman, who proved to be an Irish fortune hunter. VII. Her being detected in a robbery, trial at the Old Bailey, and transportation with her Lancashire husband. VIII. Arrival at Virginia, seeing her son by her own brother, growing rich, and dying penitent, in the 77th year of her age. Written from her own memorandums.

A declaration of a strange and wonderfull monster : born in Kirkham parish in Lancashire (the childe of Mrs. Haughton, a Popish gentlewoman) the face of it upon the breast, and without a head (after the mother had wished rather to bear a childe without a head then a Roundhead) and had curst the Parliamnet [sic]. Attested by Mr. Fleetwood, minister of the same parish, under his own hand; and Mrs. Gattaker the mid-wife, and divers other eye-witnesses: whose testimony was brought up by a member of the House of Commons. Appointed to be printed according to order: and desired to be published in all the counties, cities, townes, and parishes in England: being the same copies that were presented to the Parliament.

Part II. The life of Jane Hackabout, her governness, who was an attorney's daughter, a lady's woman, a whore, a bawd, a pawnbroker, a breeder up of thieves, a receiver of stolen goods, and at last died a penitent. Part III. The life of James Mac-faul, moll flanders's Lancashire husband, who was born in Ireland, came into England; turned gentleman, gamester, highwayman, and at last being transported, died a wealthy merchant at Virginia.
