A catalogue of the genuine and curious collection of mathematical instruments, gems, pictures, bronzes, busts, urns, cabinets, curious clocks, book-cases, &c. of Martin Folkes, Esq; Late of Queen-Square, Holborn, Deceas'd; Which, (by Order of the Executor) Will be sold by auction, By Mr. Langford, At his House in the Great Piazza, Covent Garden, On Wednesday the 7th, and Thursday the 8th, of this Instant May 1755. The said Collection will be exhibited to public View on Monday the 5th Instant, till the Time of Sale, which will begin punctually each Day at Twelve O'Clock. Catalogues of which may be had at Mr. Langford's in the Great Piazza, Covent Garden, aforesaid. Note. The valuable Collection of Coins, Medals and Medallions, in Gold, Silver, and Brass, and likewise the Collection of Prints and Drawings of the said Martin Folkes, Esq; will not be sold till next Spring, of which timely Notice will be given.

A catalogue of the entire collection of bronzes, of the palazzo gaddi, palazzo marucelli, and the late eminent antiquary Baron Stosch; Consisting of great variety of groupses, statues, busts, priapi, animals, basso and alto relievos, sacrificing vessels, instruments, &c. of Roman, Grecian, Etruscan and Egyptian workmanship: with some few modern bronzes of mich. angelo, benv. cellini, tacca, giov. di bologna, fiamingo, algardi, and other celebrated masters. Which will be sold by auction, By Mr. Langford and son, at their house in the Great Piazza, Covent Garden, on Wednesday the 21st of this instant March 1764, and the two following days. The said collectinos will be exhibited to publick view, on Monday the 19th, and every day after till the time of sale, which will begin each day punctually at twelve o'clcok. A catalogue of the genuine collection of curious subjects of natural history: Consisting of Great variety of scarce and beautiful shells, corals, minerals, petrifactions, stuffed birds, insects, &c. Together with antique gems, statues, busts, lamps, fibolas, etruscan and roman earthern-ware, and other remains of antiquity. As also various pieces of antient statined glass, pictures, (among which is a capital miniature portrait of General George Monk, Duke of Albermarle, by Cooper,) Prints, and drawings, framed and glased, &c. of Edward Jacob, Esq., F.A.S. of feversham, author of antiquities of feversham, plantæ fevershamienes, sheepy fossils, &c. and of the the Rev. Mr. Lightfoot, chaplain to the late Dutchess Dowager of Portland, both deceased: which by order of their executors, will be sold by auction, by Mr. Gerard, at his House, in Litchfield-Street, St. Anne's, Soho, on Monday, June 8; 1789, and the three following days, at half after eleven o'clock precisely. A catalogue of a curious collection of Greek, Roman, and other medals; also some scarce and valuable antique marble busts, urns, vases, basso relievos, particularly a statue of Hercules of Parian marble, out of the collection of Girardon; antique and other bronzes, a neat collection of pictures, &c. Belonging to a gentleman, (deceased;) brought from his seat in the country. Which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Prestage, at his great room the end of Savile-Row, next Conduit-Street, Hanover-Square, (by order of the executors,) on Tuesday, the 13th of May, 1766. And at the same time will be sold four capital pictures of Rosa Tivoli, belonging to a nobleman deceased. The said collection may be viewed on Saturday the 10th of May, 1766, and till the time of sale (Sunday expected;) punctually at twelve o'clock. Catalogues to be had gratis at Mr. Prestage's aforesaid.
