An Extraordinary and Curious Exhibition of posture work and Exertions of Strength by The Infant Hercules, a child of ten years old. A new dance, called Love and Opportunity. By Mr. Holland, Mr. Dubois, and Mons. Boi-Maison, Miss Brouguier, and Miss Bithmere. Tight-Rope Dancing, By The Little Devil, Master Richer, Madame La Romaine, And La Belle Espagnole. After the above different Performances, will be exhibited a new superb spectacle, called Les Quatre Fils Aimon; Or, The Four Valiant Brothers. A Favourite Historical Representation, in Two Parts, in which is given a living picture of the guardian frigate, (commanded by Lieutenant Riou, in her Voyage to the South Seas,) as she appeared when embayed amongst the stupendous floating Islands of ice. With songs, duets, trios, &c. incident to the Piece. Equilibres on the slack wire; Also with two drums, and the peacock's feather, by Signor Bologna. And the Curious Performance with a pyramid of glasses; together with the Surprising Exhibition of the Italian Serpent, by Signor Joseph Doctor. Tight-Rope dancing, By Signor Pietro Bologna, Master Bologna, and La Belle Espagnole. In the Course of the Evening will be given the last admired Performance, in Two Parts, called The Champ de Mars; Or, Loyal Foederation. Descriptive of the Grand National Fete held at Paris on the 14th of July 1790, and progressively displaying the different Operations of the Parisians on that Day; particularly in their parading parties to the Champ de Mars, and the Ceremony of the Civic Oath; together with the Manoeuvres of the military children. The whole interspersed with a Variety of favourite French Chansons, Airs, Marches, and other Music made Use of on that Occasion. The Performances of the Evening to conclude with the new entertainment, called Neptune's Levee Or, Harlequin in Spain. Representing, in a Variety of Incidents, Serious and Comic, The Adventures of Count Beaumont. And including a Grand and Interesting spectacle, (displayed in a New Mode of Scenic Effect) to represent a Magnificent Palace in the Sea; In which is shewn, accompanied by a Variety of marine devices, and emblematical banners, a grand naval procession Of British admirals, naval commanders, and eminent seamen, Whose Lives have been nobly devoted to the Service of their Country since the memorable Defeat of the Spanish Armada, in 1588. With New Scenery, Machinery, Dresses, and Decorations. The Paintings by Mr. Greenwood. The Music by Mr. Taylor. Boxes, Three Shillings and Sixpence; Pit, Two Shillings; Gallery, One Shilling. During the time of this fair, in a commodious booth Sieur Rea sen. and sons Just arrived from the Royalty Theatre, London, but last from Oxford, and who had the Honour to exhibit by the express Desire of their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of York, at the Palace in Newmarket, on Thursday the 8th of November, 1792, and is happy to observe, that his performance met with the highest approbation from their Royal Highnesses and their Family, The Philosophical, Mathematical, and Mechanical Amusements, and the Astonishing, Wonderful, Surprizing, and Unparallelled Deceptions and Recreations of the Celebrated Sieur Rea sen. whose Performance repeatedly drew crowded and brilliant Audiences in London, and met with unbounded Applause. His Exhibitions are entirely new, and not to be equalled in Europe, and totally divested of Confederacy, or the assistance of Spring Tables, &c. And for Real Merit, Novelty, Whim, and Humour, are the first upon the List of Candidates for public Inspection. To the above Performance will be added, several Feats of Agility of Body, by the Venetian Youth and Child of Promise, Both from the above Theatre. Which will be exhibited in a Stile superior to any thing performed before. In addition to which, will be exhibited the Mechanical Museum, Which exhibits the following unparallelled Pieces of Clock - Work. 1. The Lilliputian Ringers, Who perform in a beautiful fancy Temple, and ring a complete Peal of 108 Changes of Grandsire Bob on six Bells; likewise several Tunes, being the only piece of Mechanism which can perform the like. II. The King going to St. Paul's Church. Attended by the Lords, Commons, and Respective Nobility, in their Coaches, together with the Life Guards, Body Guards, and the Ringers ringing at the same time, God save the King.
