Notes

Sabina Jabry is originally from Moscow in Russia but moved to England when she was 4 years old due to a political coup. She would like to go back to Russia but fears seeing how the country has changed. On the day of her plinth performace she received a promotion at work and so will be using her time on the plinth to celebrate. She has a great passion for music and is academically trained on violin and piano and singing. On the plinth with the aid of an mp3 player and backing tracks she plans to perform sing alongs and also some of orginal songs that she has composed herself. She also intends to hand up sheets of lyrics so the audience can join in. Initially she wanted to bring her keyboard but couldn't due to lack of power supply and the risk of rain.
