About this work

Description

The first in a six-part series in which people with long-term memory problems cope with their conditions. This part features Claire who suffers from prosopagnosia - the inability to recognise faces. Her condition came about after falling prey to viral encephalitis. Now she can't recognise the faces of her children, husband and even herself. But the condition also means she has lost much of her own sense of identity leaving her with little sense of what people who are close to her mean to her.
