Notes

Interview with James Lyons conducted by Paula Testa. Lyons has been working on One and Other since it started 86 days ago - his job is to log the activates of participants and make sure the web stream is operating correctly. He is quite apprehensive about the project as it is not particularly to his personal taste. Additionally, he does not like how some media organisations have endorsed a particular perspective of the project that is not necessarily true in order to manufacture exciting content. He quotes Andy Warhol by saying: 'art is what you can get away with', however, he has no desire to do anything particularly spectacle or polemic, instead just wanting to get some quiet time and maybe sleep . He sarcastically thanks the woman who didn't show up and who he now has to cover for. He also references a man called John, implying there has been a regular heckler throughout the project.
