TB of the lumbar spine: anteroposterior x-ray of the spine

This is an anteroposterior x-ray of the lumbar spine. There is loss of the L4/5 disc space. There is also a right lateral scoliosis, centred at L4/5. The changes are more easily seen on the lateral view (see record number W0045337). Urgent assessment and treatment is required, preferably in a specialist unit, as neurological damage may occur, either from spinal cord compression or arachnoiditis.
