Member of a class of three old men, of whom one worked with great pleasure. This patient was a farmer, brain-damaged, geriatric, in a wheelchair. He hated his disability. He painted with good colours, archaic qualities, but he stopped work because he couldn't accept that his paintings were aesthetically valid. Dated 1977.
