About this work

Description

Fluorescent micrograph that has been stained with a neurofillament stain to highlight a developing cranial ganglion. The long axons of these developing neurons can be seen in green as they connect with the developing brain. The purple highlights laminin. Laminins are part of a protein network important in development and formation of tissue as cellular scaffolding and form extra-cellular matrixes.
