Description
Left and right, portraits of Drs Pearson and Meyer respectively. Centre, a pair of hands wringing juice out of a bundle of herbs into a soup dish below. According to Robert-Sterkendries (loc. cit.), Pearson was R.W. Pearson of the Bengal Medical Service, and he introduced the product called Herbesan which was made from fourteen different herbs. The existence of this Pearson has not been confirmed. "Dr E.H. Meyer" has not been identified with any real person either
