Description

One volume collated and compiled by Dr C. C. Easterbrook, Physician Superintendent, 1908-1937, reflecting the history of the hospital and the rich social and recreational aspect of life at Crichton Royal Institution, 1838-1938. One volume compiled by James Flett, Clerk of Works, 1911-1939, relating to theatrical and musical entertainment at Crichton Royal Institution and material produced by the Crichton printing press, 1842-1947. A further volume compiled by Dr C. C. Easterbrook contains newspaper cuttings reflecting national events relating to the care of the mentally ill.
