Description

Two letters dated October and November 1939 between R A Davis and Haldane, and two letters dated March 1940 between William Ellis and Haldane, all regarding the difficulties faced by young scientific workers and research students in finding work. Davis' letter includes a covering note sent c/o the Editor, New Statesman and Nation.
