Notes

(Father) Ed Hope is a priest at St Patrick's Church in the Centre of Edinburgh just of the Royal Mile. He was originally born in Yorkshire. He talks about the decision to become a priest, about to embark on a PhD in different understandings of 'preaching' nowadays. He lives in a community/monastery but is not a monk and describes what it is like to live in a monastery. Wants to help people in life and always keep a vision of heaven. On the plinth he will invite people to pray for other people and will pray to have a local lady Venerable Margaret Sinclair become a saint. Produced a leaflet "priest on the plinth" which describes what he will be doing on the plinth.
