Cali Executive Committee Meetings (Colombia): Minutes

Minutes of the Cali Committee of the Colombian Branch of Cooper, McDougall & Robertson Ltd. "Productos Cooper".

The opening Minute to the Meeting of 18 October, 1961, records:
"A meeting was held on this date at CM&R Ltd Cali Office, on the occasion of the visit of our Overseas Director, Mr J K Wilson, to the Colombian Branch, attended by Mr Wilson himself, Mr Hannaford and all members of the Management Committee, which at the suggestion of Mr Wilson will henceforth be called the Cali Committee in order to avoid giving the impression that Management was by committee. The Committee's job was to advise the Manager and to act as far as possible as a local Board, but only one man could manage at a time."

From 29 March, 1967, meetings are designated "Cali Executives' Meetings". The last set of Minutes in this sequence is for the Meeting of 26 September, 1968, although Meetings continued beyond this date.
