Notes

Katherine Duerden comes from London. She had studied history of art and has an interest in the arts but has spent most of her working life working for charitable organisations. Has seen this as an opportunity to be creative again and has spent a lot of time thinking about what to do. She has made a suit that represents her, who she is, and what is important to her and will be up on the plinth just being herself in her suit. She is interested in portraiture and sees the project as being based around a portrait of the UK and the individual portraits people taking part.
